Marianna Hanischne Szentesi

Piano

Marianna is a qualified and experienced piano teacher originally from Hungary.

In 1999 she established her own private music school “Allegro School of Arts” with 20 teaching staff and 500 pupils, organising many concerts and cultural events a year. She was the principal there until 2007 when she moved to Oxfordshire.

Since commencing work as a piano teacher in the UK, Marianna has had considerable success with the progress of her students. Two of her students have been offered a place at Chetham's School of Music.

Marianna joined Yamaha Music School in 2010 giving individual and group lessons, and now focuses on individual piano tuition. Her teaching is based on the Hungarian music theory and instrumental music methods, complemented by her personal knowledge and observations.

Marianna is friendly, helpful, punctual, flexible, creative and imaginative. Her targets for her students are these:

- give children more chances in life by training them to be well-rounded individuals.

- make children love and understand every style of music, to be able to play the piano expressively, naturally, and without technical problems; and to help those students who aspire to become professional to achieve their aims.
